Gophers football lands two recruits over the weekend

Two players who visited the University last weekend have committed to the Gophers, according to Rivals.com and ESPN.com’s Bill Kurelic.

James Manuel, a three-star safety from Indianapolis, committed on Sunday, according to Rivals.  The 6’2" 200-pound Manuel reportedly received offers from Iowa and Michigan State, among others.

Josh Tauaefa, a 6’2" 265-pound defensive tackle from Corinth, Texas, committed on Saturday, accorind to Rivals.  He reportedly received offers from Houston and UTEP, among others.

From the 2010 recruiting class, according to Rivals, the Gophers now have 14 commitments, 10 of which have come from recruits rated three stars or better by Rivals.
