An attack would unsettle the Middle East

Attacking Iraq at this time will not just worsen the situation in the unstable Middle East, but it also will widen the gap between the Americans and Arabs. War will give fundamentalists a chance to pass along their ideas among Arab youth about the danger of American control in the Arab world. This will have a bad effect on American security because it will increase the number of those who are ready to do anything possible to hurt the U.S. government and people. Avoiding war should always be a priority for the U.S. government. The last few days Iraq showed compliance and President Saddam Hussein accepted the return of the inspectors. I think this is good chance to avoid war and save thousands of innocent lives.
