Tickets are still available for this week’s NCAA men’s basketball Midwest Regional first and second Round games at the Metrodome via the University Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-UGOPHER or 624-8080.
Here is the composite schedule to purchase tickets:
Wednesday: University ticket office, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Metrodome, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday: U of M ticket office, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Metrodome, 8 a.m. until halftime of the day’s final game.
Friday: U of M ticket office, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Metrodome, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: Metrodome, 8 a.m. until halftime of day’s last game.

Aune leaves
Gophers men’s basketball center John Aune says he’s decided to leave the basketball program to pay more attention to his mechanical engineering major.
Aune, a 6-foot-10 sophomore walk-on, averaged just over four minutes per game this season. He played behind Joel Przybilla, then Ryan Wildenborg and Kyle Sanden.
