Four Big Ten teams made the list of 25 in the first BCS standings of the 2009 football season.
Iowa, with a 7-0 start (3-0 in the Big Ten), is ranked No. 6. Penn State (6-1), Ohio State (5-2), and Wisconsin (5-2) are ranked at No.’s 13, 19, and 21, respectively. With the exception of Wisconsin, each team is also ranked in the top 25 of the AP poll and the USA Today coaches’ poll.
The Gophers lost to Penn State 20-0 last Saturday and lost to Wisconsin 31-28 on Oct. 3. Minnesota travels to Ohio State on Saturday and will visit Iowa on Nov. 21, the last Saturday of the Big Ten season.
