Gophers sophomore right wing Nadine Muzerall was named the U.S. College Hockey Online offensive player of the week.
Muzerall led Minnesota to three wins, including two over ranked opponents, as the Gophers won the Princeton Thanksgiving Invitational last weekend.
The Gophers (6-1-2) have won six games in a row, and moved up to fourth in this week’s U.S. College Hockey Online poll.
For the second year in a row, Muzerall recorded nine points on three goals and six assists at the tournament. Those six assists tied her own tournament record, and give her 12 career assists at the tournament, tying Concordia forward Cammi Granato’s total from 1993-1995.
Muzerall and the Gophers take on Gustavus Adolphus Thursday at 7 p.m. at Mariucci Arena.
