The Minneapolis Police Department leads the "Free Our Future" march past the Hennepin County Government Center on Saturday, June 30 in downtown Minneapolis.
One person was shot in Cedar-Riverside Tuesday afternoon, police say.
Minneapolis police say an adult male was shot at 3:45 p.m. on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue.
The Cedar Cultural Center is in the area, as well as restaurants and small grocery stores.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police have opened an investigation to locate a suspect.
