41-foot crest expected Saturday in Fargo

The National Weather Service is projecting a record 41-foot crest of the Red River in Fargo on Saturday. Click here to see the full flood alert.

Volunteers have been working tirelessly to sandbag the area. The Fargodome has become a staging ground for the operation, with upwards of 2 million sandbags expected to be used (see CNN video below).

Also, a number of University of Minnesota students are planning on heading home to help families and friends in the effort.
