“Project Runway” junkies take note: it’s been announced that some noteworthy names from the series will take part in Minneapolis’ own eco-centric fashion production, “Sol Inspirations-Eco Fashion Gala.” The event challenges six designers to create three eco-inspired looks using non-traditional materials and sustainable or recyclable fabrics. Season seven “Project Runway” winner Seth Aaron Henderson will headline his collection of solar-powered clothing and previous (and local) season six contestants Ra’mon Lawrence and Christopher Straub (he’s the one everyone had a crush on) will compete alongside some of Minneapolis’ most talented designers. Save the date for April 23, fashionistas. This one’s going to be good.
