Thursday FLOW Northside Arts Crawl Back for its 10th anniversary, the FLOW Northside Arts Crawl presents three days of art. The festival celebrates variety, showcasing performing and visual art. On Saturday, there will be indoor and outdoor activities along West Broadway, and Friday boasts gallery receptions and public performances. Thursday marks the opening block party for the celebration of local art. Where Plymouth Ave. and N. Penn Ave., Minneapolis Hours 7 p.m. Free Friday> Summer Night Funk Three Twin Cities bands have conspired to give Minneapolis a night of funk at Bedlam Lowertown. The Brandon Projekt, a 10-piece band led by Brandon Perkins, is hosting the night. They are joined in their rock âÄônâÄô soul by local acts Pocket Watch and Champloo. All three are known for putting out rocking, funky tunes, so the night is bound to be stellar. Where Bedlam Lowertown, 213 Fourth St., St. Paul Hours 10 p.m. Cost $10 Saturday Nick Offerman âÄúParks & RecreationâÄù star Nick Offerman will be stopping by MinneapolisâÄô Uptown Church for a talk, as well as a reading and signing of his new book, âÄúGumption: Relighting the Torch of Freedom with AmericaâÄôs Gutsiest Troublemakers.âÄù The event is presented by local book shop Magers & Quinn. The comedian, author and actor will sign books, included in the purchase of a ticket. In support of his upcoming Ducktails album âÄúSt. Catherine,âÄù due out July 24, he got together with guest star Mac Demarco and director Richard Law to create this whimsical, bizarre music video for the dreamy single âÄúSurreal Exposure.âÄù Press play and let the goofiness commence. Listen to this: âÄúStar WarsâÄù Completely out of the blue, indie rock staple Wilco released their first album in four years for free last week. Titled âÄúStar Wars,âÄù the album holds 11 new tracks of pure Wilco bliss âÄî perfect for window gazing or really any daily activity.
