The No. 2 Women’s hockey team returned to their high-scoring form Saturday, defeating North Dakota 3-1.

All three of the Gophers’ goals came on the power play, as did UND’s lone goal.

The Minnesota defense continued to dominate, allowing a season low six shots on goal for the Sioux to Minnesota’s 35. Freshman goalie Noora Räty had five saves in the win.

Freshman Megan Bozek led the way for the Gophers, scoring two goals. Sophomore Anne Schleper had the first goal of the game.
