Six current and former Minnesota womenâÄôs hockey players were chosen for the U.S. Select Team announced Wednesday by USA Hockey. Senior defenseman Rachael Drazan, freshman forward Jocelyne Lamoureux, senior forward Gigi Marvin and freshman defenseman Anne Schleper will hit the ice along with former forward Erica McKenzie and current assistant coach and All-American Natalie Darwitz. Both are ranked No. 9 in the first U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association national poll. At No. 8, Michigan is the only team in the Big Ten that ranks ahead of the women, while No. 6 Wisconsin and No. 8 Michigan outpace the men.
