2014 guard Nate Mason announced his commitment to the University of Minnesota on Friday night.
“I’m officially committed to [the] University of Minnesota! Go Gophers!!!!!! #blessed,” Mason tweeted from his Twitter account on Friday.
Mason, a three-star Georgia native, stands 5’11” and could be the guard fans have been waiting for to run Gophers head coach Richard Pitino’s up-tempo system.
Mason joins forward Josh Martin as Minnesota’s first two 2014 recruits.
