Officers found two women shot and killed at an apartment complex in Marcy-Holmes late Saturday. 

Minneapolis Police officers received a call reporting gunshot sounds at 10:30 p.m. and found the women dead after arriving at Holmes Park Village Apartments. 

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victims as Eileen Mark, a 67-year-old from Minneapolis, and Jennifer Angerhoffer, a 42-year-old from Coon Rapids. The Star Tribune reported Mark and Angerhoffer were mother and daughter. 

Mark was found with bullet wounds to the chest while Angerhofer was found with wounds to the face and neck. MPD ruled the two deaths as homicides and are further investigating the incident.
