The Minnesota womenâÄôs basketball program wonâÄôt be looking through the want ads anytime soon. Athletics Director Joel Maturi announced Tuesday that head coach Pam Borton signed a new 6-year contract, keeping her at the University through the 2013-14 season. âÄúCoach Borton has maintained a level of excellence in our womenâÄôs basketball program which we rewarded with this new contract,âÄù Maturi said. The student-athletes in her program have performed on the court and the classroom. We are committed to the continued success of all our teams and in the case of womenâÄôs basketball, we look to Pam to lead the way.âÄù
