Friday: Rush “The Book of Mormon”
Remember when “The Book of Mormon” was the biggest thing, and it was impossible to get local tour-stop tickets? The fever has more-or-less passed, which means one very important thing — student rush tickets are available. The venue begins selling the tickets 90 minutes before the show, so get in line early. You can snag two rush tickets with a valid student ID.
Where: Orpheum Theatre, 910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis

Saturday: “Indoor Winter Market”
Now that farmer’s market season is essentially over, fan favorite “Indoor Winter Market” season can officially begin. It’s basically the Mill City Farmers Market but indoors, with produce to match the time of year: spinach, root vegetables, beans and squash. Regardless of natural lighting, we bet the event is still cutesy enough for a “look how I spend my Saturday mornings” social media post too.

Sunday: “Family Day: Exploring Egypt”
The word on the street is that Mia’s newest exhibit “Egypt’s Sunken Cities” is remarkable. At Sunday’s free family day, a host of activities inspired by the exhibit will be set up for all ages. Step away from homework and enjoy a little excavation. They say the day is for the “young and young at heart.” We’re both, right?
