A robbery took place near the University of Minnesota’s West Bank on Thursday night, per a SAFE-U advisory sent out Friday morning.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., the suspects – no description or direction of travel was provided – approached a victim near the intersection of Riverside Avenue South and 20th Avenue South. The suspects indicated that they had a gun before robbing the victim.
This is an MPD case and community members are advised to use caution in the area.
