A UMN researcher team on Great Lakes ReNEW, a regional innovation engines program, was awarded up to $160 million from the U.S. National Science Foundation.
At their February meeting, the Regents also voted unanimously to approve a letter of intent to buy back the University of Minnesota’s teaching hospital from Fairview Health.
McMaster, currently the vice provost and dean of undergraduate education, will stay with the University as a faculty member in the Department of Geography.
