After the cancellation of this year’s donation drive left the organization without any donated meals swipes, UMN Swipe Out Hunger met with U.S. Senator Tina Smith to advocate more support for students experiencing food insecurity.
On Friday, the Board of Regents voted to move forward with the athletics department’s proposal to eliminate men’s indoor track, gymnastics and tennis. The three programs will be discontinued after the 2020-21 school year.
