Gov. Mark Dayton released his $842 million jobs proposal Tuesday. The funding proposal focused on transportation and infrastructure projects that he believes will create jobs for the state in 2015. In the proposal, Dayton offered about $32 million for the 10th Avenue Bridge rehabilitation project, which is Minneapolis’ top bonding priority for 2015. Mayor Betsy Hodges met with Dayton in March about funding for different projects in the city. Both the mayor and the governor called the project essential, said Kate Brickman, communications director for mayor Hodges.
