Gophers lose 0-2 at Georgia

Minnesota fell to the 16th ranked Georgia last night when a pair of second-half goals by the Bulldogs went unanswered.
Neither team saw a goal in the first half of the game, but Georgia’s Rebekah Perry scored a quick goal at the start of the second half against Gophers goalkeeper, Cat Parkhill.
Another goal for the Bulldogs came from Marah Falle who put the team ahead by two.
After the 0-2 loss, Minnesota stands with a 1-1-0 record while Georgia advanced to a 2-0-0 record. The Gophers haven’t lost a non-conference match in the regular season since 2007.
Minnesota will play Kennesaw State Sunday at 1 p.m.
