Minnesota Athletics Director Joel Maturi increased extended the number of years on his contract late last months, keeping him at Minnesota through 2012. Maturi had signed an extension three years earlier in 2006 keeping him at the University until 2010, while earning $315,000 annually. The latest agreement gives Maturi a $30,000 boost to $345,000 a year.
