Clear Channel radio station KFAN-FM (100.3) will continue broadcasting Gophers football games for the next three seasons, the University of Minnesota Athletics Department announced Monday.

The station currently broadcats Gophers football games. It will continue to provide play-by-play coverage, an in-season show with head coach Jerry Kill, a one-hour weekly show dedicated to Gophers athletics and related football programming with Justin Gaard, according to the release.

"We have enjoyed our relationship with Clear Channel and are looking forward to another exciting three years of having Gopher football broadcast on KFAN Sports Radio," Minnesota Athletics Director Norwood Teague said in the release.

The Gophers will kick off their season against Eastern Illinois on Aug. 28 at TCF Bank Stadium.
