Big Ten out of Jerry Kill’s league

I think the time has come to take a huge step back and evaluate the Gopher football situation. Coach Tim Brewster was relieved of his duties because of lack of leadership and confidence as the head coach. Athletics director Joel Maturi spoke about how seven weeks would give Minnesota a head start in landing a âÄúTubby SmithâÄù football coach.
It is time to relive Maturi of all duties. Jerry Kill might be a good hire if this was the Big East conference or ACC conference. But in the new Big Ten conference with Nebraska this hire has to be a complete and utter joke. Most MAC coaches step up to places like San Diego State, not the Big Ten.
What a joke. Time to start watching tiddlywinks on ESPN because it will be more entertaining than Gopher football.
