Elmo jerked awake. “DAMMIT!” he screamed, seeing his clock read 11:23. He was late once again for his early class and he knew his prof was getting rather annoyed with his constant tardiness. This was not the way to start a day when the weather is mostly sunny with a high in the upper 50’s. Especially since it looked like rain and 40 degrees for Tuesday. Leaping into his Impala and driving at impressive speeds was getting to be too much of a habit. Elmo tried to think up a reason for being late which would explain how he was diurnally impaired. Too bad he would find that his clock was still set for pre day-light savings.
