The seasonâÄôs first winter storm could dump as much as 8 inches of snow on the Twin Cities.
Much of southern Minnesota, the metro area and parts of northern Wisconsin could receive anywhere from 5 to 8 inches of snow starting Saturday, with the heaviest snow falling over the Twin Cities.
The National Weather Service reported the snow could be mixed with rain and could spread north over Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota Saturday through Sunday.
