Volleyball comes from behind to top Michigan State

The Minnesota Volleyball team trailed two sets to zero against Michigan State, but rallied to win the next three sets in a row to steal the road match 3-2, by scores of 23-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-19 and 15-12.

The Gophers were lead by Hailey Cowles who had a team-high 17 kills to go along with nine digs and three blocks.  Lauren Gibbemeyer finished with 15 kills and 10 blocks.  Minnesota freshmen continue to provide more and more offense as Tabitha Love had 11 kills and Katherine Harms finished with eight kills.  The offense was set up by Taylor Carico who had 52 assists, as well as six kills and five blocks.

This was also the first time in two years that the Gophers came back to win a match in which they were losing by two sets.
