UMN student robbed near campus

Three men stole the student’s wallet late Sunday night.

A University of Minnesota student was robbed Sunday night at the intersection of Oak Street Southeast and East River Parkway near the Ronald McDonald House, according to a University of Minnesota Police Department timely warning.  

At approximately 11 p.m., a group of three men approached the student on East Bank and demanded his valuables, according to the email. 

The victim turned over his wallet and the three suspects ran away on foot.  

Suspect descriptions were not available. Minneapolis Police are investigating the incident.
