Boat sinks off coast of Panama, leaving one dead, four missing

PANAMA CITY, Panama (AP) — A small boat sank off the Pacific coast of western Panama, killing at least one person. Four others were missing Sunday.
It sank on Saturday between the villages of Puerto Vidal and Pixvae, 125 miles west of Panama City. The cause wasn’t known.
Rescuers pulled 10 survivors and one body from the water Sunday. Among the missing was an acting congresswoman, Yolanda de Casis.
