Peaches ‘n’ cake

Quick disclaimer: I think I love peaches a little too much.


When I was a kid, I loved rubbing the pit on asphalt until it transformed into a ring. I’ve always loved the fruit. The emoji is everything.


The only way I’ve ever seen peaches being taken too far is the Kimoji (and even that’s a little funny).


This being said, when recently introduced to these pancakes I didn’t know what to make of them. They sounded good, but could they be too good? Why add to something already perfect?


I tried them. They’re perfect.


With a solid peach, you can’t really go wrong.


Peach pancakes


For syrup:


5 sliced peaches


1/3 cup brown sugar


1 cup water


1 dash cinnamon


1 tsp butter


Put all ingredients in medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.


For pancakes:


You know how to make pancakes (I hope). Use your favorite recipe.




Pour heavy cream and syrup on top of your desired cake load. Garnish with some fresh sliced peaches. Enjoy while catching up on Kim Kardashian’s snapchat story.
