“Shhh! They’re gonna hear you,” Elmo said to his friend Spiffo.
It was the time of year Elmo had grown to despise, brats running from house to house with their hands extended, beggin’ for candy.
This year Elmo was determined to hoard all the candy he bought for himself.
Besides it was partly cloudy with a high in the lower 30s. And those damn 15 to 25 mph winds were yet another reason to keep the door closed. Ah yes, with Friday being very cold with lows in the teens and highs in the mid 30s he would stay in bed with his bag full o’ bite size Snickers.
