Sen. John McCain will be in Minneapolis on Thursday to host a fundraising event at the Hilton hotel.

There will be a private reception for Chair and Host Committee members, with membership costing $50,000 and $20,000 respectively. Individuals or couples can raise or personally contribute that money.

Tickets for dinner and a photo opportunity cost $2,300, but McCain supporters will only have to shell out $1,000 for dinner and the main reception.

Notable attendees will include U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman and Gov. Tim Pawlenty , who some say McCain may choose to be his running mate.

McCain last visited Minnesota about a year ago , but recently opened a campaign office in St. Paul.
