Griak named to USTCA
Hall of Fame

Roy Griak, University cross country and track and field coach for 33 years, has been selected as one of five individuals to be inducted into the United States Track Coaches Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place on Dec. 1 in Mobile, Alabama.

When Griak stepped off the track for the last time in 1996, Minnesota honored its legendary coach by naming the nation’s largest annual cross country meet, formerly the Minnesota Invitational, after Griak.
