Every year People magazine releases two issues dedicated to showcasing beautiful people (although I guess this isn’t much different from every issue), one being the “Sexiest Man Alive” and the other being the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman.”
2014’s most beautiful woman is Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o. People usually picks the winner based on other accomplishments, not just looks, but any list ranking individuals based on appearances is kind of hard to take seriously.
However, Nyong’o is definitely pretty, and she clearly had a successful year, beating out Jennifer Lawrence for best supporting actress at the Oscars and being named the new face of Lancôme Paris. Other celebs who made the list include Mindy Kaling, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Amber Heard, Pink and Kerry Washington.
