Shooting at OSU leaves two dead, including shooter

Ohio State University police have identified the victims and suspect of a shooting that took place on the campus early Tuesday morning.

The shooting was reported around 3:30 a.m. It involved three campus maintenance workers — two victims and the shooter.

Larry Wallington, 48, building services manager, died on the scene. The other victim is in stable condition, according to an OSU new release.

Nathaniel Brown, 51, was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. Brown, a custodial worker and the suspected shooter, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to the press release, the incident “appears to be work related.” The shooter entered an office suite in the OSU Maintenance Building and began shooting.
