Bookstore aims to make buying, selling positive experience

At the University, campus bookstores are doing everything they can to make sure new and returning students have a positive experience.
In addition to the bookstores located on campus, the University launched an online book service last September.
Robert Crabb, director of University Bookstores, said earlier this year that the online services provide students with resources unique to the University.
The online book service enables students to find books for their classes and purchase them over the Web at no additional cost.
Students can also purchase apparel and school supplies through the University bookstore Web site.
The two main bookstores on the Minneapolis campus are located in Blegen and Williamson halls. The main bookstore on the St. Paul campus is in the St. Paul Student Center.
Books are available starting about two weeks before classes begin.
Students should park in ramps near the bookstores, since there is no available parking in front of any of the bookstores.
Bookstores are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Special hours are held the week before classes begin and for the first week of the semester. Schedules are posted at the bookstores and online.
For more information on bookstores or to buy books online, go to www.bookstore.umn.edu.
