The Dec. 26 mall of America melee — the megamall's most violent in 15 years — was lilkely random, the Star Tribune reports.
Early on Dec. 26, social media rumors said rappers Lil Wayne and Drake would perform at the mall. Later, a food court fight broke out and spread throughout the shopping center, resulting in 10 arrests for disorderly conduct — four of them juveniles.
Early on, Youtube videos of the riot fueled suspicions that the riot was premeditated on social media.
The case is still under investigation by Bloomington Police.
