Volleyball team signs last two

The Gophers volleyball team announced the signing of its final two recruits Monday, making a total of six players who have signed national letters of intent to play for Minnesota next season.
Both of the Gophers’ latest signees are international athletes. Tanya Dulder, a 6-foot outside hitter, is from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Sonja Posthuma, a 6-foot outside hitter/middle blocker, is from the Netherlands.
Dulder and Posthuma join Lisa Aschenbrenner, Heather Baxter, Nicole Branagh and Erica Glaser in Minnesota’s recruiting class. All six players are either outside hitters or middle blockers.
The Gophers will have five of their games televised this year by Midwest Sports Channel, starting with their March 2 game against UCLA in the Hormel Classic at the Metrodome.
Other games, all at home, that will be televised by MSC include: March 30 vs. Purdue, Apr. 26 vs. Illinois, and May 10 and 11 vs. Northwestern.
