Freshman Lauren Weis rounded out the top three with a time of 4:21.55.

In the 800 freestyle relay, Minnesota had a one-two finish. Veerman, Stacy Busack, Alison Eggers and Meagan Radecke finished in first place with a meet-record time of 8:21.92. Fellow Gophers Braun, Marissa Davies, Lissa Tommerdahl and Melissa Nelson finished second, nearly five seconds behind with a time of 8:26.26.
