As expected, No. 7 Minnesota qualified nine wrestlers for the NCAA championships, sending a wrestler from every weight class except 157 pounds.
From each of the 10 weight classes, 33 wrestlers will partake in the tournament March 17-19 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Six of the Gophers’ wrestlers are ranked, and the other three (Scott Glasser, Danny Zilverberg and David Thorn) will go as unseeded wrestlers in their respective weights.
