For those of you who don’t attend class, if you haven’t noticed already, summer’s over. And with the school year in full swing, we all know Homecoming weekend is just around the corner.

Today it was announced that Twin Cities hip-hop moguls Atmosphere will be this year’s featured musical act. The show will take place at the TCF Bank Stadium and will follow the annual Homecoming Pep Fest. Tickets go on sale next Tuesday online and while The Minnesota Daily A&E staff does not condone academic delinquency, this show is sure to sell out at warp speed. So do what you need to do, gophers. It’s Atmosphere. They’re the reigning kings of underground hip-hop and despite your feelings about their latest album, the group is known for delivering a powerhouse live show. On sale Tuesday, September 20 at 6 pm at MyGopherSports.com

Student ticket price: $10, limit 8 per transaction 

General ticket price: $25, limit 8 per transaction

Doors 6:30 pm. Program 8:30 pm. 

A limited quantity of general tickets will be available for sale at the Fifth Element in Uptown.
