University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler will host a listening session to promote equity and diversity on campus this Wednesday.

The event will be held in Coffman Memorial Union’s Mississippi Room from 3 to 4 p.m. and is free and open to all students.

Wednesday’s event will be co-hosted by Provost Karen Hanson and moderated by Rickey Hall, assistant vice president for the Office for Equity and Diversity.

“I believe that a diverse community is essential to a healthy and forward-moving University,” Kaler said in a news release.
