The Second Floor Advisory Committee is hosting an open forum from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday on the second floor of Coffman Union. This is an opportunity for student groups to meet some of the representatives from SFAC and voice their opinions and suggestions pertaining to the redesign of the second floor space.

SFAC representatives will clarify their role in the planning process and gather additional information from those in attendance to better improve plans and recommendations for use of the space. The committee will continue to work with planners to address additional findings from the open forum.

SFAC has been formed to share ideas for the redesign of the second floor to create space that supports all student groups, addresses the issue of using existing space to serve more students and builds a strong community.  SFAC, which is advised by staff from Student Unions and Activities and the Office for Equity and Diversity, will make a final design recommendation to the SUA Board of Governors. The committeeâÄôs goal is to create an design that will strengthen community and will be inclusive of all student groupsâÄô needs.
