Co-op sees second assault

A 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted Oct. 5 at Commonwealth Terrace Cooperative, according to University police reports.
University Police Detective Charles Miner said the suspect is an acquaintance of the victim but would not comment further on the nature of the assault. No arrests have been made.
The crime, which allegedly occurred at 7:25 p.m., was reported to police the next day.
Police are investigating the incident and plan to submit their report to the Ramsey County attorney next week, Miner said.
Reports show that this is the second time in two months a girl has been sexually assaulted at the student-housing cooperative.
A 4-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two juveniles in a Commonwealth laundry room on Aug. 13, according to University police reports.
The student-family housing unit is located on the St. Paul campus.
