Should the Gophers be chosen later this evening to return to the Insight Bowl for the second straight season and third time in four years, they know already who they will play. Iowa State accepted a bid to the New Year’s Eve bowl game in Tempe, Arizona where they will make their first postseason appearance since 2005.
Minnesota, meanwhile, will announce its bowl destination at approximately 7:30 p.m. this evening. Stay tuned to this blog and mndaily.com for updates on the Gophers’ postseason.
