President Barack Obama will address University of Wisconsin, Madison students at a rally Tuesday night focusing on recapturing the energy that helped him win the 2008 presidential election.

âÄúWhat I want to do is just to go speak to young people directly and remind them of what I said during the campaign, which was change is always hard in this country,âÄù Obama said in a Monday conference call with college reporters. âÄúIt doesnâÄôt happen overnight.  You take two steps forward, you take one step back.âÄù

The event will be live-streamed by Students Organizing for America at TonyâÄôs Diner in Dinkytown beginning at 5:30 p.m.

âÄúWeâÄôre ready to get riled up and get going but we need a spark,âÄù SOFA president Jeb Saelens said. âÄúWe need Obama to come through and give us that inspiration, that hope that heâÄôs so good at.âÄù
