Front-page foolishness

While my opinion of the quality of The Minnesota Daily is uniformly low, I have never questioned its journalistic integrity until your cover story âÄúCommittee finds U stem cell research data to be falsified.âÄù You have a front page photo of Morayma Reyes under this headline, and yet you have to turn to the inside page to find out that she has not been found responsible for any wrongdoing. You have effectively convicted her by placing that photo under that headline. This is an incredibly delicate matter that has far-reaching consequences for everyone involved. Your act of irresponsible journalism may affect peopleâÄôs careers and is unacceptable. Lisa Jasperson Medical Scientist Training Program
