Police arrested a suspect in an apparent homicide in the Southeast Como neighborhood Saturday morning, according to a Minneapolis police report.

Police responded to a call at about 12:45 a.m. at a rental duplex on the 1100 block of 13th Avenue Southeast. Officers found a man with apparent stab wounds and immediately took the suspect, who was still in the residence, into custody.

According to a Minneapolis police news release, officers also found a knife at the scene.

Neighbor Tanner Olson lives in a house next to the scene of the incident, with roommates who are graduate students at the University of Minnesota. Olson said when he got home from work at about 2 a.m. Saturday, there were a number of police cars and caution tape was wrapped around the house, including the driveway shared with his house.
