Cole Konrad won two NCAA championships in his Gophers wrestling career. Now, after making the jump to mixed martial arts, "the Polar Bear" is one win away from becoming the first-ever Bellator heavyweight champion.
Konrad defeated previously undefeated Damian Grabowski (13-1) by unanimous decision at Bellator 29. His finals opponent is Neil Grove (10-2-1), who garnered each one of his victories by either KO or TKO.
The date of the fight has not yet been determined, but will be scheduled for some time in October.
