Free writing advice offered in Lind Hall

There may be no such thing as a free lunch, but free help with homework is readily available at the University.
Staff at the Student Writing Center, located at 306 Lind Hall, are available to help all registered undergraduates with class papers.
To get help with a writing assignment, simply bring a draft of the paper to the Student Writing Center. A tutor will offer feedback and corrections. Call-ahead and walk-in appointments are available, but be prepared to wait if you just stop in for writing tips.
Extra help is also available for those who need it. With a referral from an instructor, students may sign up for a one-hour weekly tutorial. Early action is advised; slots fill up quickly.
The center’s hours for the fall have not yet been determined. Call 625-1893 for more information.
