Trevor Mbakwe is playing the recruiting game again. The three-star power forward and Minnesota native is again visiting Division-I schools after transferring to a community college before this season. On Friday night, he took an official visit to Minnesota, sitting in on the âÄúTubbyâÄôs TipoffâÄù event. Mbakwe committed to Marquette two years ago, but left after one year. He is playing this season at Miami-Dade College in Florida. Mbakwe averaged 21.6 points, 12.7 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game as a senior at St. BernardâÄôs High School, a small private school in St. Paul. The year before, he averaged nearly identical numbers at Henry Sibley.
